Echo Screen originates from Brick, NJ and includes Shaune Scutellaro, vocals, lead guitar and keyboards, Tim Sager, Bass Guitar and vocals and Mike Badders on drums. Their mission is to pump glorious tunes into the ears of listeners across the globe. “Euphoria”, the band’s first full length CD release in November of 2006 by Rock Out Records was masterfully produced and recorded by Shep Goodman and Kenny Gioia (Bayside, Punchline, Head Automatica), features a fresh sound poured into meaningful songs, while capturing emotional highs and lows of life. Although Euphoria is a pop-rock record at heart, it doesn’t attempt to push the same formula on listeners in every song.
Having formerly worked with producer John Nacerio (Senses Fail, Autopilot Off, Midtown) on their debut self released EP “An American Tale”, Echo Screen is no stranger to success. The band received much acclaim and attention for their single “Rushmore” off their EP, which was featured on the 2004 “Drive-Thru Records/PureVolume Compilation” with such artist as Fall Out Boy, The Format and Say Anything.
When not in the studio recording you can catch Echo Screen on the road, having played up and down the East Coast and across the country on the 2006 Van’s Warped tour, in 2007 at SXSW Music Festival in Austin TX and in the Summer of 2007 with Island Record’s The Rock Summer. They have also shared the stage with such acts as The Ataris, Boys Like Girls, Cute is What We Aim For, Jack’s Mannequin, Crash Romeo and Making April.
Echo Screen usually performs only their own original music, written and composed by Shaune Scutellaro; however, they did appear on the 2005 Pacific Ridge Records Blink-182 tribute album doing a version of “First Date”. After the success of that cover, they will appear on the 2008 Pacific Ridge Records, Tom Petty tribute album doing a cover of “Mary Jane’s Last Dance.”
